The hit application called Swapnote for Nintendo 2DS and 3DS has recently had one of its key features disabled: Spotpass. If you aren't aware, Spotpass allows Swapnote to send messages to other people on your friend list via the Internet. Nintendo has given a statement on the matter, saying that the majority of people who used the service were minors, and that people were exchanging their friend codes with Spotpass and then using Swapnote (known as Nintendo Letter Box in other regions) to exchange offensive material. So, what do you think? I, for one, rarely used the service, although I liked it when Reggie sent me special stationery.
